August 26-30, Monday - Friday 
Final registration and payment (or proper deferral) of fees for 
students not previously registered. 

September 2, Monday 
Labor Day. (Classes are not in session.) 
Campus Residences new student check-in. 

September 3, Tuesday 
Campus Residences continuing student check-in. 
Classes are not in session. 

September 4, Wednesday 
Classes begin. 
Late registration begins with $30 late fee assessed. 

September 5, Thursday 
Senior Citizen Auditor Program registration.

September 10, Tuesday 
Last day to drop a course without tuition liability. 

September 17, Tuesday 
End of late registration period. 
Last day for undergraduates and SPD/GSP students to add a course. 
Last day to drop a course without a W (withdrawal) being recorded. 

September 23, Monday 
Yom Kippur. (Classes are not in session.) 

September 27, Friday 
Last day for students to file applications for December and January graduation. 

October 14, Monday 
Columbus Day. (Classes are in session.) 

October 31, Thursday 
Last day for undergraduates to withdraw from the 
University and still be eligible to return next semester. 

November 1, Friday 
Last day for SPD/GSP students to withdraw from one or all courses. 
Last day for undergraduates to withdraw from a course or change a 
course to or from pass/ no credit. 
Last day for removal of Incomplete grades from spring and summer Session. 

November 5, Tuesday 
Election Day. (Classes are in session.) Classes follow a Friday schedule. 

November 11, Monday 
Veterans Day. (Classes are in session.) 

November 18, Monday 
Advanced Registration begins for spring semester. 
(Schedules and instructions will be announced prior to registration.) 

November 27, Wednesday 
Classes follow Monday schedule. 
Thanksgiving Recess begins at close of classes. 

December 2, Monday 
Classes resume. 

December 13, Friday 
Last day of classes. 
Last day to withdraw from the University. 
(SPD/GSP students must have SPD approval; see November 1 above.) 
Last day for graduate students to submit theses and 
dissertations to Graduate School for December graduation. 

December 16, Monday 
Final examinations begin. 

December 20, Friday 
Final examinations end. 
Fall semester ends. 
Last day for departments to submit completion statements 
for December master's and doctoral degree candidates.
