Sept. 3, Tues. Classes Begin (Includes: SUNY Learning Net Courses). Late Registration begins ($30 late
fee assessed).

Sept. 3, Tues. Graduate - G1 - G5 Students (Non SPD/GSP) Last day of removal of Incomplete grades from
Spring 2002 semester. 

Sept. 6, Fri. No Classes after 5:00PM in observance of Rosh Hashanah

Sept. 7, Sat. Saturday Classes will NOT meet in observance of Rosh Hashanah

Sept. 10, Tues. ALL Students - Last day to drop a course WITHOUT any tuition liability

Sept. 16,Mon. Classes will NOT be in session in observance of Yom Kippur.

Sept. 17, Tues. ALL STUDENTS: Last day to drop a course without a "W" (Withdrawal) being recorded.
Tuition and fee liability remains applicable.
ALL STUDENTS: Last day of 30% tuition liability.
ALL STUDENTS: Last day to process any section changes. After this date, all section changes will require
permission (signature from instructor) for the new section.
ALL STUDENTS: CORRECTION DAY: STUDENTS FOLLOW A MONDAY CLASS SCHEDULE
GRADUATES: Last day for departments to advance doctoral students to candidacy.
UNERGRADUATES: End of late registration period - Last day to add a course. Last day to change status
to or from full-time/part-time.
SPD: End of late registration period - Last day to add a course.

Sept. 18, Wed. Graduation - Last day for May through August degree candidates to file for graduation in order to
be included in the May commencement ceremony. Candidates should file as follows: West Campus
undergraduates apply at the Registrar's Office, Graduate Students at the Graduate School, SPD students at the
SPD Office.

Sept. 24, Tues. Graduate Students (G1 - G5, Non-SPD/GSP) - Last day to add a course, last day to withdraw
from a course.
SPD/GSP Graduate Students - may continue to withdraw through November 1, 2002

Oct. 14, Mon. Classes are in Session

Nov. 1, Fri. SPD/GSP students - Last day to withdraw from one or all courses.

Nov. 8, Fri. Undergraduates - Last day for to withdraw from a course or change courses to or from
Pass/No Credit. 
Full-time students must maintain Full-time status (minimum of 12 credits). Last day for removal of incomplete
grades from the Spring 2002 semester.
SPD/GSP Last day for removal of Incomplete grades from Spring 2002 semester.

Nov. 27-30 Thanksgiving Break. Classes not in session 

Dec. 2, Mon. CLASSES RESUME

Dec. 13, Fri. Last day of classes. Last day to withdraw from the University, (SPD/GSP students must have SPD
approval; See Sept. 24 note). Last day for graduate students to submit thesis and dissertations to the Graduate
School for December graduation.

Dec. 16, Mon. Final examinations begin for courses held Monday - Friday.

Dec. 20, Fri. Final examinations end; fall semester ends. Last day for departments to submit Completion
Statements for December master's and doctoral degree candidates.

Dec. 21, Sat. Final examinations for Saturday Classes. Finals held during scheduled class time.
